I clipped this text from the Chessbase site: "BGN man vs machine, man vs man and youth chess Brain Games Plc has announced the signing of all contracts for the staging of the spectacular eight-game Man vs Machine event this October in Bahrain. As we reported our program Fritz qualified to play BGN world champion Kramnik. The games will be played on October 14, 16, 18, 20, 24, 26, 28 and 30. If the computer wins it will get $400,000, which the manufacturers plan to put into a special youth fund. Read the press releases here. Meanwhile Brain Games is also starting to plan the 2002 human world championship cycle and asks what the chess public would prefer: a rematch Kramnik vs Kasparov, a threesome with the two Ks plus Anand, or a regular qualifier and challenge. You can send in your opinion here, and view the reactions that have been received so far." I for one do not belive there are any money going into this fond as a result of this match. :-) The rematch question is perhaps more interesting! Torstein
