What a few months. I wrote a winning proposal to get a large government contract which was awarded in three weeks (usually, it is more like three years). Got a new job -- because I had to move for family reasons (aging parents, and so on). Sold my house, and bought a new house 220 miles away. All the moving details are still pending, and my job starts on the 31st. Etc., etc. At least I have had a few beers tonight! Anyway... A little old lady attended a lecture on cosmology. At the end of the lecture she approached the lecturer and asked: "Is it true that the sun will die in 5 billion years?" He thought a long time and answered, "No it is not true.
