After the lecture, she approached the speaker, and told him that his ideas were nonsense, because it was well-known that the Earth (or the giant Atlas) was standing on the back of a giant turtle. When the lecturer replied, "But what is the giant turtle standing on?", she answered, "Oh, you are very clever, young man - - but it's turtles all the way down!!!" :) Mark
