I am using a 566 celery, cb0 stepping, overclocked to 955mhz, and I frequently defeat other players in Yahoo! using processors up to 1.4 mhz. Having used chess programs in yahoo since 1997, it seems to me that the important factor is clock speed, not the collateral "stuff" that you get charged for.
