Any program with a reasonable strength could beat me on my 90mhz computer, and
now that I'm using a 700mhz Celeron with a little more memory, to be honest,
they don't seem all that much stronger (maybe I can't tell).

The biggest advantage I'm getting is that the newer computer opens large
programs, boots, and loads internet pages a lot faster. And the memory is
cheaper, SD memory is a lot cheaper the EDO was. But the old machine was built
much better. The new one has a tiny power supply, and stuff like the sound card
and the video card are built into the motherboard (cheap things you might want
to avoid)
