From a competitive standpoint, they have an incentive _not_ too. Don't forget
that CBs main competitor in the database area (CA) is UCI compatible. Although I
am sure that Convekta will find an alternative if UCI goes away.

If CB is the only game in town, what incentive is there for them to support UCI
(which they will need to devote programming resources to)? Does it increase
sales of their products? I don't think so, since everyone will be using Fritz.
The developers will have to use the CB engine API if they want to play ball.

I don't mean to write Rebel and company off here, and that is not my intention.
But the dissappearance of Millenium makes life easier for CB.

Maybe I am wrong about all this, and that would be nice. But this is the first
thing that jumped into my head.
