Chessmaster 8000 does not support Windows 2000/NT. However, when you say "video
related", do you mean the video card, or the introductory video? If the former,
then all I can suggest is making sure your video card's drivers are updated. If
the latter, then you can do this:

Open the CM.INI file in the Chessmaster 8000 directory with Notepad (or your
favorite text editor). Look for the [settings] group and the entry in it that
says "IntroMovie=1". Change that to read "IntroMovie=0" and save the file. This
will prevent the intro video from playing.

If neither of these work, then I'm afraid you're out of luck.
