The Mind Sports Olympiad at Alexandra Palace (where the 2000 WMCCC was held) was an absolutely FANTASTIC event - a chance to see and learn loads of wonderful games. Franz Morsch told me he learned about 10-15 new games, while he allowed his partner to operate Fritz. And all the competitors/organisers doing all these games were top quality people. It was a wonderful event. I intended to tell my brother to go to next year's event, because he loves playing games as well. Sometimes, when you're enjoying something, you don't realise that you're experiencing it for the last time. Ah well. -g
