When analysing the Rebel Century vs. the Web game I got a pawn endgame that looked like this: [D]8/4k3/1p6/p1pPPp1p/2P1p3/4P2P/P1K5/8 b - - 0 1 with the best move 1.. h4! and a drawn position and I found it curious that the evaluation should be so good for white in some programs. Then take the resulting position: [D]8/4k3/1p6/p1pPPp2/2P1p2p/4P2P/P1K5/8 w - - 0 1 and modify it by moving the pawn that theaten the break, the f pawn to the g file: [D]8/4k3/1p6/p1pPP1p1/2P1p2p/4P2P/P1K5/8 w - - 0 1 where some programs will signal a huge advantage for black, I'm tired but I think this is a draw too. Or at least having a very deep winning line. I would guess that some agressive null-movers would have some grief from these. Feedback is appreciated. Regards Dan Andersson
