Your right Josh.
Alred Sloan, groundbreaking and highly regarded book, "My Years with General
Motors."

Believe it or not, he, Alred Sloan, says that companies actually NEED
competition to remain healthy, lack therof only makes a company sluggish and
sloppy which only leads to extinction.

Sloan, even helped strengthen a competitor against GM to ensure continous
competition. (Best I can recall, read the book a year ago, the company was
Chrysler)
