I am not the same opinion like Chris Amir. IMO you have to compete. No
matter if the opponent is strong, weak, intelligent or stupid.

Please, I guess you don't talk now about Fischers chess-qualities but
yuo talk about something beside his chess-strength.
Maybe you mix chris together with Fischer and forget that his program
plays chess and not politics.
BTW: fischer could be a good talking partner for Rolf Tueschen. They
could both together talk about fascists and jews and 3rd reich ! :-)))

I never understood which reasons they had to choose which program they
tested on which hardware.
Although Mark sent them free-copies they did not test Hiarcs.
They throwed out the Schaetzle + Bsteh Turbokit because it was not
comercially available (although it WAS !).
Maybe computerchess is not a healthy hobby anyway ?!?
