I was aware that most correspondence leagues have eliminated the "no-computer"
rule since it is effectively not enforcable.

My point was "what is the purpose of playing a game where you leat the machine
dictate every move?"  IE I work on a chess program to make it better.  I play
chess _myself_ when I feel so inclined.  I don't consider it interesting to play
in a league where everybody uses a computer.  Or is human vs human
correspondence simply a thing of the past?

That is why I don't "get the point"...
