If you have Fritz 6, on your CD-Rom are some tablebases already, I think at
least the 3-4 man. If you can't find them there, download them.

If you want to use tablebases, download the files from Bob Hyatt's FTP-server -
first from the 3-man directory, than the 4 man (total some 30Mb) and than the 5
man (a lot - a lot...., you could try to select the most common and download
them)

Put all tablebase files in one directory, say c:\tb, and locate the chssbase.ini
file in your windows directory.
Open it to edit and add these lines:

[Tablebase]
Path=C:\tb
CacheSizeKB=1024

save the file.

Now start Fritz, right click on the engine name, enable endgame table base use
and Fritz will use them.

Good luck.

J.
