I think it's not that bad... I'm running the Hiarcs 7.32 GUI, CB 7.0 or the
Fritz GUI which came with CB-Tiger, without noticable OS problem in Windows ME,
on a notebook with just 64 MB RAM only.

I did some little changes of the standard setup, but nothing important IMO
(i.e., I disabled the Task Scheduler with some PC Health task... but my PC still
seems quite healthy :o).

To John:

Maybe one of these DLL files which were talked about often, can be the reason
(luckily I didn't have these problems)? I think it was MFC42.DLL and/or
SHLWAPI.DLL, and it was said that the most recent versions in ..\windows\system
should be used only, and the older one's in the program directories should be
deleted IIRC. Or just move them to a backup directory (if I'm wrong about this).

Does the error message refer to one of these DLLs?
