>Oh, come on, thorsten. So I was deceived when I learnt about >areodynamics in the the college? I thought I knew why planes flight at >all, but then you say that is prejudice. The prejudice theory about planes is, often thaught, that the air above the wing is faster than the air going the way under the wing. Therefore a vacuum is generated that makes the air and the wing go up. In fact this would cause crashes if the same plane flies on the back. In old days where this theory was thaught, people were unsure what happens if a plane flies on the back. I am NOT sure which explanation they told YOU enrique.... >I don't say there are or not another ways; I say that what seems to be >different ways are the same thing at last. So The example of the door >does not fit at all with the discussion. If you want to be funny and >ironic, I can be also, but I don't see the point to be so. What seems to be different ways are the same thing at last ?! Alle Wege fuehren nach Rom ? I want to explain to you that nature and things have not only ONE way or ONE reason. We build theories to explain things. Most often very reductionistic ones. This has to do with the fact that human brain is limited and different people have different background and believe that ONLY one( Their) own way is right. This is of course not the case. >There are >also many ways to win a game: you can shoot to the head of your >adversary or giving to him a narcotic before the game. or you can play >with half a dozen queens. But then what??? Exactly. AND THIS is the reason 1-0 says nothing. It does not explain if you killed him and therefore the game was 1-0. Or if you killed him and therefore HE won the game because you were disqualified. It does not explain what has happened. 1-0 is like 1,- DM for wine. You can relate it to 1,- DM for beer. But nobody knows if the beer tastes better than the 1,- DM wine. Or 1 woman is better than another 1 woman. How can you relate numbers and find out about the content anyway ? In fact - you cannot prove if something tastes better. The same way with a move. We have exceptions. A forced mate. Endgame databases. But - this is only part of the game. >Truly yours >Fernando
