I have two sons who play...5 and 8. I've tried many different programs for kids and without a doubt the best by far is Maurice Ashley Teaches Chess. Highly recommended. Can't say enough good stuff about it. Proof would be the my 8 year old, then 7, won the first tournament he entered! Later...Dave
