The last intel c++ compiler which i got to work (the latest
gives internal errors when compiling and crashes before it
creates executable) was very close to msvc but msvc has improved
again, so has gcc.

From parallel viewpoint gcc is doing *very* good as it creates
very small executables!

I downloaded this thing and will later this week try with DIEP
if it doesn't crash and if i can get it somehow to work!
