What about the King Engine in CM8K which greatly outsells all the Chessbase
family? That is not on Chessbase.

Chessbase has MOST top engines now. They will NOT "have soon all top engines".
And what is the aim in screaming that they will?

Rubbish! Why do you insult Ed?

By Screaming "total MONOPOLY!" you are strongly implying that this is a bad
thing. It is too late to try to placate your argument with "I am not sure..."

There is no "total MONOPOLY!" here.

Chessbase are currently doing well, and are signing up the rights to many good
engines, as well as the emerging "Young Talents", because they have developed a
very good and popular interface.

People already build adaptors to play Shredder in CBase Gui.
People who buy CM8k write here about how they try to play the King Engine in
CBase Gui.

Good on Chessbase, they provide valid competition to Rebel, Chessmaster, and
whoever else is in the Marketplace.

No offense meant Jouni, I'm just placing the other side of the argument.
