Yes it will play other chessbase engines, just like a native engine, so far i havve only read that there is very little if any performance penalty. Yes, with a null modem cable and a (c) account, the WinBoard Autoplayer 232 by Eberhard Boerger (available for download at frank's top download(at the bottom) C:\winboard\winboard.exe -zp -ics -fcp "winboard232c -com 2" -icshost freechess.org -icshelper timeseal This is line i put in my winboard shortcut, you will need to place winboard232c.exe in your winboard folder along with your ics.ini file(containing username and password) connect the null modem cable to your com1 and com2 on the back of you cpu, and voila you should be up and running, start Fritz 6 gui or shredder 5 gui (you need to activate the autoplayer function before you can do this) click on your winboard shortcut and that's it :-) Regards Jonas > >thanks > >rajen gupta > >The install of winboard engines and uci engines were very easy, i am >>impressed :-) and oh, let's not forget the playing strength of S5 and DS, >>amazing.
