If you need to download any of the latest patches for CM6000, CM7000 or CM8000, they are available at the Ubi Soft Support Site: www.ubisoft.com/support/supportmain.htm -- When you get there, click on "FAQ" on the left side. -- Then, click on "Find Answers" in the middle section. A new browser window will pop up (sometimes, for reasons unknown to me, this window can take quite some time to load, so be prepared for a potentially long wait). -- In the "Products" section, in the drop-down box that says "All Products", select "PC". Then in the drop-down box that says "All Sub-Products", select the appropriate version of Chessmaster. Then press the "Search" button. -- When the list of "answers" is retrieved, one of them will say something about the patch. Click on that answer. When the topic is brought up, listing all of the features of the patch, at the bottom there will be a "File Attachments" link to the patch itself. Click on that link and the download will start. Yes, I KNOW that the patches are, for some incomprehensible reason, not available in the "Game Patches" section. Please don't ask me why.... <sigh> jm
