I asked SMK in interview about the settings of his engine and he answerd: "Am ehesten sehe ich noch Verbesserungspotential bei Style, Combinations und Forward Pruning." This is easy even for not german speakers. Style, combinations and Forward Pruning. Just a tip. If you want a rock solid engine that nearly never loses on equal hardware try the solid style and adjust alittle bit with king safty. The only Problem is that this engine even will not win a lot of games. :-) Allways use the Deep Version. COMPARE the different styles of the original Shredder and e.g. make your own SOLID Deep Shredder. Bye Ingo
