I believe that the question about the (in)validity of the SSDF rating was stated as clearly as possible. It is quite a different issue, however, what prejudice the "open letter", and other prior skepticism about the status of the leader in the SSDF rating system, may have created in the minds of the voters here, on this open board. Thus, the poll seems fair to me, but the overall skepticism, paranoia and mistrust, created much earlier in the computer chess circles, do seem to have interfered. And that is something that no one can successfully control. In that sense, the poll has to be inevitably biased, but, let me reiterate, not because of the bad intentions of the poll-makers.
