Subject: Congratulations to Dieter, a cool joint 3rd-4th place finish by Yace

Congrats to Dieter and the Yace team. For Yace the tournament lacks 1 more
round, it is one of the 6 programs that missed to play both Fritz and Gambit
Tiger. The cause was its poor showing from round 5 to round 7 scoring only 0.5/3
confronting the durables Patzer (0-1, underestimating kingside attack) ,
Insomniac (1/2-1/2, an interesting favorable rook and pawn ending for Yace) and
the King (0-1, underestimating the king defensive resources of the King). Its
1st loss actually came at the hands of Diep back at round 2 (Diep launched a
strong kingside attack when Yace was still developing its pieces).

The cross table below shows that Yace got some lucks here but its unforgiving
behavior towards the lower rated opponents proved also that it has the potential
to land a respectable place in the tournament.
