I tried using Hiarcs 7.32 but it did not work. I don't think you can play chess games on-line with the GUI that any ChessBase program comes with e.g. Junior, Fritz, Hiarcs, in the same way you can use CM8000 with MPlayer. But by all means drop ChessBase a line to check this out. You can play winboard engines on-line against each other on ICC using the relevant GUI there, but I've never done this so am not the right person to tell you how to do it. There are also MIRC chat clients to enable you to play chess over any IRC server and there are a host of free internet chess sites where you can play chess using a Java GUI which has many limitations i.e. Yahoo and MSN.
