Hi Graham
Is it allowed no to have the same opinion? The CM8_Utzinger personality is not
the strongest one when playing other CMP but it produced better resultats in
numerous games against various [not CM8] top programs than any other
CM8-personality. Why on earth have all the people with their own settings
obviously not succeeded in obtaining better results? Or is it simply so that
these people do not take the time to play on higher time controls enough games
vs non-CM8-programs? I am still waiting for a better setting than CM8_Utzinger
and am convinced there is more than one, but we [all the CM8-fans] need a prove
on the basis of quite a lot of games. I am in so far desperated as it is quite
impossible to do the whole work alone. Maybe a CM8_improvement_Accociation is
founded where the single members are cooperating in testing the various
settings. But the way things go so far, we shall never have reliable results.
And for all these reasons I have stopped testing CM8 for a while if not even for
ever.
