I have created a loser's chess program and want to add an opening book. Since there are no libraries of solid loser's chess games, this is what I plan to do: 1. Derive a opening book class from the hash table class. 2. Add member function to read and write the table. 3. Pass the number of wins and losses in place of upper bound and lower bound when storing a position in the opening book. 4. At the end of a game that ends in mate, look up the opening positions for the first n moves and adjust the win/loss count accordingly. 5. When evaluating the first n - 1 moves, look for the best position in the opening table with a win ratio > 50% . If there are no moves with a win ratio > 50%, do a normal search after ordering the moves with the losing ratios last. Hoping for some feedback before proceeding. -Brian
