Thanks in advance for your help. > >Jeroen If you're using Win98 look on the Windows CD in the Win98 directory. The file is in the precopy1.cab cabinet file. You can extract any file from it with winzip or any unzip utility. Put it back in the C:\windows\command directory, as it's a DOS based utility to restore long filenames, e.g. after a faulty (de)installation of Winodws. Good luck. The other Jeroen
