No I dont think the Palomino will be sig faster clock per clock. at least as
ineffecient as X86 already is. It will be using a .13 Micron die size which
means it will outsource less heat and that means higher clock speeds can be
achieved.
As my own personal rule of thumb, I upgrade my system every 18 months to keep up
witht theory. Right now AMD is much cheaper to upgrade IMHO.
