I am a former big supporter of Transmeta but they have not done very well in the real world. I notice that many of you favor AMD microprocessors for chess play. Here is a nice article from Tom's Hardware site that explains plans for a new 64 bit processor that will result from a cooperation between AMD and TM. Will all of our great programs like Chess Tiger 14.0 and Junior 6/7 work on this stuff? Anybody know? http://www.tomshardware.com/technews/index.html Tim Frohlick
