Yasser Seirawan has sold me the last T.A.S.C. R30 & Smartboard that they had for a very nice price! I have been playing it mostly 10 minute chess (Yes, on the highest level setting), for the last week, and have been mostly getting thrashed - I'm rated 2147, though I am a U.S.C.F. Life Master, for whatever that's worth. I also play in the Marshall Chess Club Friday night rapids each week. So far I haven't done significantly better, (Usually 3rd/4th place behind the 'real masters', and out of the money), but I consider this the latest in my ongoing experiment, on how to advance to 'THE NEXT LEVEL' (whatever that is), of improvement. I'm having a wonderful time with this board & modual, and am wondering about others here at Computer-Chess Club. To you guys or girls who have this board, what has been your experience? For me, it has been much more enjoyable to play moves over a fully responsive Auto-responce board, rather than try to concentrate against Fritz or any of the others. (Even though they are of course more advanced chess-wise). And before anyone ads that I should get the DGT board for the ultimate experience - Well its on order, and should be here any day now! My motto - Who needs money, give me more and better electronic chess! Larry Tamarkin Marshall Chess Club P.S. Will do a profile when time permits
