That makes the program 2.5 years old. A few months ago the author stated it certainly was not up to the level of other top programs yet, hence it may just have been lucky. An 8 round swiss says something, but not all. Considering that the program is very comparable to Crafty in structure, there is a fair amount of 'lending' that can happen, which improves progress greatly of course. That statement which he made during the tournament, that his program had been in development for 4 years is appearantly a lie. -- GCP
