Hi Harold,
Great tournament good luck with it.
Regarding the CM8K.
You will find when you run it in tournament mode against
the other program that if you are absent it will play say
games 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. Then simply make a new tournament this
time switch the order you selected the two players then you'll
get games 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.
The only other way around this is to play a game in the game
room then manually switch sides.
To set up
Download the "CB_auto232c or b.zip" file Frank has it at;
http://amateurschach.in-trier.de/schach/download/download_top.htm
Then unzip it to the Chessmaster 8000 directory.
Then install by going to the game room
Click on Game, Import Xboard Engine.
Name as say Winboard232b
In xboard filename name the location here is mine;
D:\Chessmaster 8000\winboard232b.exe
Then on Command line add
-noextend
Best of luck !!
Sarah.
Then it's a simple matter of installing it like a winboard engine. This just
requires you to go to the "Game" menu then "Import xboard Engine" and fill in
the blanks.
