Do you use CB to build the tree?

If you use CB7/8 the standard option tells you to build 20 ply deep ECO related
and no variations.

As you have been busy especially with finding out sidelines and many irregular
openings, you should add variations to the tree and don't choose ECO related but
absolute.

It depends somewhat from the depth of the analysis, but I think a valua of
30-plies could be a good minimum.

I think you even could choose a higher value up to 40, as I suppose you aren't
talking about tens of thousands of games. It compensates for the size of the
tree who else would be too big to handle.

As an extra I would check te best results and set a positive value under Fritz
(extra probability it will play the opening) and a negative value for the less
successful. Start with +1 and -1 for the more regular and let the chess engines
who are going to play with the book decide how to continue.
If you have an opening you're especially fonds of, raise the positive weight to
+10 or +15. The same for your "no-no's"

Good luck.
