Hard to say. That normal book you reference is general.ctg. General.ctg happens to be the book used by the program which was #1 for over a year Fritz 6. Maybe not special for Crafty but clearly not a bad book. If you wanted a tuned book naturally that was your choice to supply one to chessbase or stipulate how and what to use in creating a special crafty.ctg when you gave them permission to make a CB usable crafty.
