Spurious?  I'm too lazy to get up to look that up right now.

I've never used a Java interface for servers, I hate Java, I really do hate it.

Chessnet had an interface that was somewhat ok that allowed you to chat, but I
replaced that with Cclient, I downloaded that at FIC, and it's a much better
interface, and also lets you chat.

I'm quite sure you can chat with Winboard, but it takes a bit of work.

I did not know you could use Fritz.  You're not talking about using Fritz for
some sort of client to the servers are you?  I never noticed any capability like
that in it.
