Having been greatly inspired by CCT3, and with my chess engine (Blikskottel) getting to the point where it sort of plays chess, and having heard the same offer, I decided to try it out. I applied as per the procedures etc, and got a message back from the Computers people at ICC saying "sorry you don't have a paid account" :( I also applied for a computer account at FICS about 2 weeks ago, and haven't had any response yet. This is greatly frustrating, as I am really keen on getting some tests in. And my wife is upset enough at the time I spend on this hobby *without* me suggesting spending $$$ on subscriptions ;) Anybody given thought to a dedicated "style 12"-compatible server for hosting tournaments like CCT?
