I really feel for the programer of these engines as it must be getting hard to
make improvements and decide what direction chess wise he should go. Too me
chess tiger 14 is just strong all around, but Gambit tiger is more fun to play
against. So what does the programer do in a case like this:
a. create one program from both
b. improve both in their own directions
which is most desirable and profitable ??
my only suggestion is make an smp engine for unix systems such as
apple system 10, linux, freebsd, beos.
