Subject: The Diep Advanced Intelligence chess program

I've been looking for information about Diep, by Vincent Diepeveen, but
all I can find is at <http://www.students.cs.ruu.nl/~vdiepeve/>. "In
analysing positions Diep is by far the strongest chessprogram in the
world." -Strong words by V. Diepeveen!

Does anyone know anything about the UNIX (linux) version. Vincent
Diepeveen once offered to sell me a linux version, and said he wouldn't
charge me much for the Linux version. Has anybody tried this version of
Diep? What features does it have? Does it interface well with xboard? Is
it a good supplement to Crafty?

Maybe somebody could coment on the playing style...

Regards,
Jan-Frode
