We have had an evaluation unit for about a month. Pretty interesting machine. Probably the easiest to operate machine since the Savant (remember that one?!). We will start taking pre-orders before the end of the week. We should have the first shipment in early July. Our site will have a photo and features list hopefully by the end of today. Excalibur claims that it plays about 100 points better than the LCD Chess. They may be right. Of course, as usual, there is some discrepency as to what the rating of LCD Chess is. Our estimates are traditionally far lower than manufacturer's estimates. We were even sued (and proud of it) for 1 1/2 million dollars back in 1985 for our conservative estimates. We are preparing a very extensive review of Touch Chess which should be up on our Featured Articles pages at http://www.ChessUSA.com sometime next week. John was writing the article all week, but he had to stop because he is getting old, and will be celebrating his 40th birthday with a 4 day vacation in New Hampshire. He left this morning.
