Hi, Heiner! Just a curiosity. What was your average branching factor for this
position? Have the impression that our programs feel it in a very similar way.
If you will be curious about mine, then my numbers:
4 moves - 0.769 sec
8.5 branching factor
5 moves - 6.538 sec
7.6
6 moves - 49.94 sec
7.99
7 moves - 6 min 39 sec
11.6
8 moves - 1 hour 17 min 13 sec
9 moves - 8 min 13 sec - mate found.
Time for 9 moves indicate time for finding first mate.
Cheers,
Leonid.
