I think if you visit the Chessbase site, and download the latest upgrade patch for Fritz, you may find some of these problems solved. Fritz and family is the most awkward of any interface to get 232-ing. The best is Shredder, The author of Shredder has gone to chessbase. I hope he can teach the Chessbase people how he does it!! For my part i use Nimzo 7.32 as the gui for the newer engines, cept for the Tigers which I still use Chesspartner. When on 232 Nimzo 7.32, for me, seems to not complain much!
