Yes, "probably". Based on what? Some SSDF-games? What was the last hardware MCP8 was tested on? I am testing on 500MHz which most computer chess players certainly have at the moment, maybe few MHz more. I have some tests in petto, especially the so-called weak programs. After my tourney I will test MCP8 and Rebel Century, they EARN detailed testing because of some unjustified (in my opinion) negative reputation they have got in the meantime, and because noone else does it, *I* will do the testing to have more evidence than this small "probably". I like facts, not guessing or rumours. And since I have the chance to test it MYSELF, I'll do it gladly. I don't expect MCP to win or even equalize the match, but I expect very interesting games. Honestly I'd be very happy if my favourite MCP could achieve a 4-6 or better. Gimmie 2 or 3 days. :-) >The same is for Shredder5 and Deep shredder is probably better. >Uri Yes, PROBABLY, and what I have read here this better is "slightly" better, whatever that means. 10pts? 15pts? 20pts? This is not worth even mentioning.
