Wouldn't that mainly apply as far as the medium strength amateurs go? The strength of the new engines certainly seem a lot stronger than just a couple of years ago. But at a certain point they're on their own and most of them advance very slowly by then. The difficult step is around 50-150 ELO below Crafty IMO.
