Hi Christophe , I think thre are in theory one possibility for the native engine
for Chessbase interface : Fritz

When you use the Chessbase interface as master in auto232 the engine can take
the name (This is only speculation )of the slave program (in general you write
the name to autosave games in database) and this can be used for to ways :

1) master engine can take internal auto-setting for each opponent and gain
better elo.

2) master engine can do special book learning for each opponent

Of course this is only theory and speculation , but all is posible in this
world.
