Research (see
http://www.psyc.abdn.ac.uk/homedir/hmcallis/secondyear/Ind_Diffs7_0301.htm )
indicates that increased levels of testosterone characterise chessplayers
before, during and after chess matches. I am planning on injecting my chess
engine with testosterone before it plays important games. Note that further
research ("These results suggest that the effect of competition on T is specific
to men") indicates that this will probably only help if your chess engine is
male :)
