Most technical sites propped up reviews today, which seems to indicate some NDA was lifed. As expected, this blow the Xeon 1.7 away in most (but not all) benchmarks. Improvement over a normal Athlon seems to be about 4%, but it's very interesting you can also use NORMAL Athlons in such an SMP system, even Durons. Anandtech critisized the Athlon4/AthlonSMP for having a (relatve to the OLD Pentium III Xeon) a small cache. Heh. Somebody wanna scroll back to what I posted when the new Xeon's came out? told you so :) -- GCP
