OH i forgot the programmer of shredder. Crafty has won some tournament, Shep has published tournament wins and rating lists such as SSDF and Frank's page show crafty to be strong against other programs. Crafty also won an event against humans (college team) some years back, but I could never get the PGN's. It was reported in Chess Life. Believe me, I would love to add these games to my list, I think Crafty may have scored over 2500 against rated players on a PPro200. Anyone have these or can you quote the actual results against average rating? Cray Blitz won the World Computer Chess Championship in 1983 and 1986. Dr. Hyatt has published many articles on chess programming. I may disagree with Dr. Hyatt from time to time, but I also have to admire his accomplishments. :) Best Regards, Chris Carson
