In testing two engines of nearly equal strength, so many games are required to
get an accurate result that you will basically never find out.

The CM 6000 engine was tested on slower hardware.  It had to be hand-operated
and was a horrible pain to test.  The CM 8000 engine can be autoplayed (IIRC).

I would be interested in seeing an experiment done with Sarah's settings.  She
seems to have found a very good combination for standard chess.

At any rate, I'm not willing to run the experiments.  It's a funny thing because
when old engines are tested against new, the SSDF gets complaints.  Now they may
get some if they don't.

Talk about your catch-22!
