Hmm. isn’t this a programming forum. I doubt that someone here that is capable
to make a chess engine will use more than an hour to figure out how to use the
king with Winboard.
(Both the starting lines surrounded by hyphen, and the magical number for
opponent king value).

Enough of that;
Suppose that I write a driver to my own GUI (for the time being privateware) for
test purpose, should I delete the code/driver before I make it downloadable as a
freeware.

I like and use Chessmaster a lot, and my GUI would never be near what yours is.
The only need I have for writing an own GUI is for spreading my engine to ‘not’
data people.
