The general audience doesn't give a damn whether it's Fritz or Tiger or Shredder or Junior, they haven't heard of any of them. They don't care about technical aspects of computerchess; that comes second to the general readibility of the article. I know articles like this are insulting to people like you and many others in CCC, but they weren't written for us. (still, it wouldn't hurt to get the facts a little straighter...)
